Seattle Technology Company
A $200 million internet marketing services firm, serving 11,000 client websites, engaged Valeo Consulting Group to assist them in transforming the performance of their development and professional services organization. We delivered a twelve month organization performance program that resulted in breakthrough performance for the entire unit.

A few examples …

  • On-time delivery of new products and updates, an abysmal 70% prior to our work, increased to 92%.
  • The company’s applications release process, routinely utilizing 40 people working 36+ hours over a long weekend, now takes only six people overnight, on a week day.
  • Product quality issues, reflected in frequent rollbacks of deployed software and “emergency” releases, have become a thing of the past.
  • Emergency releases plummeted from 55% to 21% and, according to the VP of Technology, rollbacks are now a rarity.

Austin Software Company

A $100 million software firm, ten years after founding, was plagued by annual financial losses and rigid organizational silos that severely constrained communication, collaboration and effectiveness. Additionally, the senior executives of the company were micro-managing their units and slowing the development and release of new products.

The newly appointed CEO engaged Valeo Consulting Group to assist him in breaking down barriers to communication, increasing teamwork and empowering middle managers to manage their units free from senior management interference and, according to him, that is exactly what we achieved. In unprecedented fashion, teams collaborated, traditional barriers disappeared, and for the first time in its history, the firm achieved profitability.

Non-Profit Association
A 7,000 member non-profit organization retained Valeo Consulting Group to assist them in resolving differences between the two primary groups of board members. The association was stymied by internal conflicts and was rapidly losing members.

Valeo Consulting Group designed and delivered a program that allowed the group’s leadership to complete their past of conflict and acrimony and to create a new future for the organization that aligned the interests of both groups.

The result was the cooperative creation of a new strategic plan and that has since allowed the association to grow and prosper.
